About
My name is Silke and I have made it my mission to connect online shoppers with high quality and reasonably priced footware.
I was born and raised in Schweinfurt, Germany, and moved to the United States when I was 20 years old. I am still fluent in german and love to go back home to visit my family, eat lots of german food and of course go shopping. I am the proud parent of two children, Lars and Tanya, and married my wonderful husband Nicholas in August of 2010.
Having been raised by very frugal parents it’s become second nature to me to be a bargain shopper. Over the years I have spent countless hours in shoe stores looking for just the right pair of shoes at a reasonable price. In the last couple of years I discovered how easy, worry free and satisfying purchasing my shoes online can be. My daughter is delighted as well, we happen to have the same shoe size. 
I enjoy browsing the seemingly endless selection of sexy shoes and hunting for great bargains. I also love to read and spent many enjoyable hours reading articles and books on shoes, footcare and related materials.
