Boots used to be worn to beat out the cold throughout the winter months, but they have evolved into a foremost piece of footwear in every woman’s wardrobe. Now that fall has arrived, it’s the perfect time to update your boot selection. Here are two styles of ankle boots that are a must-have for every fashionista this year. 

Chunky ankle boots are splendid to wear to the office or to any social gathering.

They allow you to look stylish in spite of slippery winter conditions. These favorites are elevated by a big kick of attitude. 

Wedge ankle boots

This soft leather ankle boot, the Dessertt by Steve Madden, combines the best of all worlds. The look of an oxford with a sculpted wedged high heel and made with soft, subtle suede leather.  

This trendy ankle boot comes in Chestnut, Black and Grey suede.   

The distressed leather 5Th Ave Boot by Skechers has a unique fold over cuff that can be worn up or down to show off the faux fur lining. This posh ankle boot has a stacked wedge heel with a grippy rubber sole and a lightly cushioned faux fur footbed. 

Too bad this cute ankle boot only comes in Tan. 

Heeled ankle boots

The Swedish Hasbeens Johdpur Boot in Raspberry Red is a little on the spendy side, but I couldn’t resist this handmade beauty and had to include it in this list of favorites. This is a 70′s inspired high heeled ankle boot made of vegetable tanned nubuck leather with a wood and crepe sole.

This earthy ankle boot comes in the following colors: Nature, Dark Blue, Raspberry Red, Military Green and of course Brown.

The Bountiful Ankle Boot from GUESS is overloaded with attitude. Made out of suede leather on top of a curvy wooden heel with faux fur lining and brass accents.

This playful and sexy bootie is available in Black, Brown and Natural.
